1. What was your first major break in the entertainment industry?
My first major break was the role of Lord Ram in Ramayan. It was a dream role and a turning point in my career, introducing me to a wide audience and opening doors for more opportunities.
2. How did you prepare for your role as Guru in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein?
The role of Guru was intense and multi-layered, so I had to dig deep into the character’s psyche. I focused on understanding his motivations, body language, and emotional depth. Workshops, detailed script readings, and discussions with the director Siddharth Sengupta he guided me a lot and i performed according to his vision for the film were key.
3. You’ve worked in both TV and film. Which medium do you prefer and why?
Both mediums have their own charm. Television gave me a strong foundation and direct connection with fans, while films allow me to explore a variety of roles and challenges. It’s not about preference; it’s about the story that excites me.

1. What drew you to your role in Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein?
The character’s complexity and the show’s unique narrative drew me in. It’s a gripping story with shades of love, betrayal, and revenge—something that’s always exciting to perform.
2. Can you tell us about your experience working on Nach Baliye with your wife Debina Bonnerjee?
Nach Baliye was special because it brought us closer as a couple. Dancing on such a platform with Debina was both challenging and rewarding. It pushed us to step out of our comfort zones and celebrate our bond in a unique way.

There are a few exciting projects in the pipeline, including a thriller film and a new series. I can’t reveal much yet, but I promise it’s something my fans will enjoy!
